Ranjith , was a former Chairman of Sri Lanka Ports Authority and Ceylon Shipping Corporation. He has over 40 years experience in management, corporate finance and corporate planning both locally and overseas. He also functions as an independent financial consultant and as an independent director.

Sunil Fernando
Managing Director – FRICS (UK), FIV (SL)
Sunil is the founder of the company and is a leading expert on all areas of Valuation. He has over 43 years of experience across various Government and Private sector organisations such as the United Nations and Commonwealth Secretariat.

Manju Fernando
Director – MBA (Edin)

Manju is the co-founder and has been involved in founding many organizations in the areas of Technology and Service sectors. His experience in managing companies from startup to growth phase enables him to drive the strategic direction of the organization.

Dr. Geoff Gregson
Director BPE (Can), MBA (Can), MSc (Edin), LLM (Edin) , PhD (Edin)

Geoff is an academic entrepreneur who brings strategic value to the Board. He is Associate Professor of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the University of Edinburgh Business School and is active as an international business consultant and director of knowledge transfer partnerships between industry and academia. He also worked with the Canadian Environmental Technology Advancement Corporation as an business adviser.

Sunil Fernando
Managing Director – FRICS (UK), FIV (SL)
Sunil is the founder of the company, he brings over 43 years of experience in valuation, investment and property advisory services to the practice. Sunil has held various senior executive posts including the post of Government Chief Valuer in two countries. He has worked in Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia. Sunil was also an Expert in valuation for projects funded by the UNDP and the Commonwealth Secretariat spanning over 11 years.

Manju Fernando
CEO – MBA (Edin)

Manju is the co-founder of Sunil Fernando & Associates (Pvt) Ltd and a serial entrepreneur. He brings over 16 years of senior management experience to the company. Manju co-founded MillenniumIT limited, a leading technology solutions provider for stock exchanges and financial institutions recently acquired by the London Stock Exchange Group. He was also Managing Director of emPriseIT limited a ICT solutions Company based in New Zealand, Australia and Sri Lanka, providing solutions to leading fortune 500 companies. He is presently the CEO of Zamsana Limited based in the UK. In Manju’s capacity as director he is involved in the strategic decision making for Sunil Fernando & Associates.

Gayan Mutukumarana

Gayan joined Sunil Fernando & Associates in 2009 after completing his Msc. In Real Estate management from the University of Northumbria in the UK. He is currently undergoing the training programme (Assessment of Professional Competence) of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) of the UK to become a professional member.

Sasi joined Sunil Fernando & Associates in 2009 after completing his Bsc. in Estate Management.

Tharaka Harish Weragoda

Tharaka joined Sunil Fernando & Associates in 2011. He brings over 5 years of experience in marketing of leading global retail brands. He was also extensively responsible for key accounts. His expertise will be applied mainly around brand valuation.

Mahishi joined Sunil Fernando & Associates in 2011. She brings over 4 years of experience in machinery and fixed asset valuation, having worked for leading Chartered Accountancy firm SJMS Associates, Chartered Accountants.

Srimal de Mel
Finalist ISVA (UK)

Srimal brings over 40 years of experience to the company. In his capacity as a senior executive in the industry, he has managed a cross section of development projects for the public and private sector. He also served as the Chief Valuation Officer and acting City Treasurer in Zambia. Srimal is a specialist in the valuation of plant and machinery and presently specializing in resorts for the purposes of finance and obtaining Fair Value for accounting purposes.

Dharmasiri Prathapasinghe

Prathap joined Sunil Fernando & Associates in 2007 after completing his postgraduate studies in the UK. He successfully completed the 2 year Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) under direct supervision of Sunil Fernando and Associates and was elected a professional member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) UK. Prathap brings over 13 years of experience in valuation. He is presently involved in all aspects of valuation and property advisory services.
